Before you start the Android data transfer process, get the tool downloaded onto your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing DroidKit on your computer.
After downloading and installing DroidKit on your computer successfully, please launch DroidKit on your computer and choose Device Manager mode under Data Manager function. After that, please click Start button and connect your device with the USB cable.
Once your device is detected, you will see the interface below.
If DroidKit is unable to recognize your Android device, you can try to fix this issue by following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check whether you are using the latest version of DroidKit. If not, please download it from our website.
2. Check if you have enabled USB debugging option in Settings.
3. Reconnect the Android device or give another USB cable a try.
4. Please make sure your Android device can be detected by the computer.
5. Check whether you have the latest version of USB Driver and ADB Driver on your computer and device. If not, download and update from your Android device official website.
The supported file category will be loaded automatically. DroidKit only lists the file icon for you to select when your Android device has such file types. Please choose file category you want to transfer(Including photos, videos, messages, etc.).
Then, please click Start button to start the transfer process.
After clicking Start button, the transfer will be started. The time to transfer contents varies based on the size of your contents. Please keep patient. Meanwhile, to improve the success rate of transferring Android data to computer, please do not disconnect your Android device before finishing transferring process.
When the transfer was completed, the interface below will display. You can click View files button to locate data exported on computer and Transfer more button to go back to the previous interface.
After clicking View files, you can check the data which are transferred from Android device to computer. Please see the interface below:
