Before you start transferring apps on your Android device, get the tool downloaded onto your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing DroidKit on your computer.
After downloading and installing DroidKit on your computer successfully, please launch DroidKit on your computer and choose Device Manager mode under Data Manager function, and click Start button.
After you choose the function you want to use, you can connect Android device to computer with USB cable. Please make sure you have launched USB debugging option on your Android device. By default, DroidKit will detect your Android device automatically. If you don’t connect your Android device to computer or your Android device isn’t recognized, you will view the interface as below:
Once your device is detected, you will see the interface below.
if DroidKit is unable to recognize your Android device, you can try to fix this issue by following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check whether you are using the latest version of DroidKit. If not, please download it from our website.
2. Check if you have enabled USB debugging option in Settings.
3. Reconnect the Android device or give another USB cable a try.
4. Please make sure that your Android device can be detected by the computer.
5. Check whether you have the latest version of USB Driver and ADB Driver on your computer and device. If not, download and update from your Android device official website.
After the loading process completes, it will display the total number of apps under the Apps icon. If it shows empty in the Apps icon, it indicates that there is no apps on your device. Then please click Apps icon.
Please select the apps you want to transfer. And you can click To PC button to download them to your computer. You also can:
Search: Search the apps you need.
Refresh: Refresh the interface to load apps.
Delete: Delete the unwanted apps.
Add: Add new apps to Android device.
To Device: Transfer the apps to another Android device.
Once the transferring process is completed, you will see “Transferred Successfully” interface. If you want to locate the exported documents, please click “View files”. To transfer more items, please click “Transfer more”. If you want to go to Home Page, please click Home Page button.
After clicking View files option, you can check the Apps, which are transferred from Android device to computer. Please see the interface below:
