Selective Backup |
Before you start to back up your phone, get the tool downloaded onto your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing PhoneTrans on your computer.
Please launch PhoneTrans on your computer and select Phone Backup option.
Then, please choose Selective Backup option and Start Backup button to start the next step.
This guide takes backing up an iPhone as an example. Please connect your iOS device to computer via a USB cable. By default, PhoneTrans will detect your device soon. If you don’t connect your iPhone to computer or your iPhone is not recognized, you will see the interface below.
Once your device is detected by our software successfully, the following interface will be displayed. Then, please click Back Up button to start backing up.
If PhoneTrans is unable to recognize your iOS or Android device, you may try these troubleshooting steps to solve this problem.
After clicking the Back Up button, the interface below will be displayed.
Then, please select the data type you want and click Back Up Now button to start the backup process.
After clicking Back Up Now button, the backup process will start automatically. It may take some time to complete the backup process based on the amount of device data. Please keep patient.
Once the backup process completes, you will see the Backup complete page. You also can check your backup and restore it. And to go back to the previous interface, please click Back button.
