1. When using the Windows version of AnyTrans, you're supposed to download the iTunes on your computer to help detect iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. (iTunes 9.0 or above, including the latest iTunes.)

Step 1.Download AnyTrans on Your Computer.
Before you start to create ringtone, get the tool downloaded onto your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing AnyTrans on your computer.
Step 2. Choose the Ringtone Maker function.
Once you open AnyTrans, you will see the screen below.

After clicking Ringtone Maker option, the interface below will appear.

Step 3. Select the Music to Customize the Ringtone.
You are able to select music from computer, iOS device and iTunes Library. Just take Device option as an example. When you click Import from Device option, all stored music on your iOS device will be displayed automatically. Then, please select the music to customize ringtone based on your needs.

If you want to import the music from the device, you need to connect your device. If your device failed to be detected, please refer to this post to fix the issue.
Step 4. Customize Ringtones.
After you choose the songs you need, please click “OK” Button, thenthe interface below will appear, and you can customize ringtone.

AnyTrans detects the volume set on your computer by default. If the volume is too loud or too soft when you play the song, please set the volume on your computer directly.
Step 5. Succeed to Customize Ringtones.
Once you click Play button, the song will be played automatically. Please drag the slider to choose your favorite period while playing the song. After completing customizing process, you are able to click Ringtone button to listen to the ringtone. If you like it, please click PC icon (Save to Ringtone Library) or Device icon (Import to iOS device) button.
