What Is Recovery Mode?
If your iPhone experiences trouble with its software or an app, you often can fix the problem by restarting the iPhone. However, sometimes these problems are more complicated and will require you to put your phone in Recovery Mode.
In fact, this is a fail safe that allows you update or restore your phone. It is a last resort and you will lose your important data, unless you have backed up your device (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch)at first?(and that’s why we highly recommend that you back up iPhone).

Why Would I Put My iPhone In Recovery Mode?
Recovery Mode can help fix the problem below:
1. Your iPhone is stuck in a restart loop after installing an iOS update.
2. iTunes is not registering your device.
3. The Apple logo has been on the screen for several minutes with no response.
4. You see the “Connect to iTunes” screen.
5. You cannot update or restore your iPhone.
